30 Day Challenge - Day 1

So I decided to carry on with my blogging, I kind of miss it since Im not away anymore! But as nothing interesting happens in my life at the moment coz Im a third year, I thought Id steal an idea from my cousin and do a 30 day challenge! I dont know if anyone is going to read it, but I wanted to give it a go, so without further ado, here's Day 1.......

A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was:

Well this is my absolute favourite photo of me ever, and not because I particularly like how I look in it, but because of the giraffe I’m feeding! I love giraffes, and have done for years, as a gangly teenager I very much identified with the long legged thing they have going on! So when I was in upstate New York this summer we went to an animal park and not only did they have giraffes there but you could feed them!!!!! Excited isn’t even the word!! I bought several packets of crackers in preparation, and this photo was taken as one of the giraffes took it off me with its insanely long, black tongue. I will keep this photo forever; it was one of the best moments of a summer filled with lots of moments I’ll never forget!!

My day today has been much like most of my days in the past 6 weeks. I got up and went to lectures, came back to my room and read a book, not for fun but because it’s related to my course, worried that I haven’t heard back from the university I want to do my PGCE at next year, watched some TV whilst having some tea, then did some essay work, then did this! Have to say my life is boring the crap out of me at the moment; I can’t wait for third year to be over! Although I was putting some dates in my diary earlier and am mildly terrified about the lack of plans for after July 1^st when term ends.........
